Your Sleep – The Journey of a Wealth Creation Investor
Wealth creation is possibly the most important word in an
investors vocabulary. Imagine if you invested for the sake of fun,
not caring which way the investment went. Probably a nice scenario
to be in, but maybe not so realistic for most people. We need to
educate ourselves about wealth and increase our financial
intelligence.
This can be achieved in many ways. You could read dozens of
books, do internet research, learn from friends, and get a
financial mentor. There are myriads of ways to educate yourself
financially. I chose to do the Jamie McIntyre homestudy course in
January 2004 and later attended the 21st Century Academy 3 day
seminar in Fiji in October 2004.
This turned out to be the single most important financial decision
I’d made in my life up to that point.
The bottom line is this: We want to profit from our investments.
Sure we want it to be fun. The fun comes with the involvement of
the wealth creation investor. As you get better and more
knowledgeable about the topic, the more enjoyment you will find in
this area of investing. Needless to say that as the profits start
rolling in, the more you will enjoy your involvement of creating
wealth.
The financial rewards become less necessary as your wealth
increases. As your needs for the monetary rewards decrease, the
easier it becomes to be a successful stock market investor.
My personal journey so far has been short and fast in this area if
investing. It has been a big, steep learning curve in the world of
wealth creation. Some investors I have met since January 2004 are
multi millionaires in their own right. Self made in their twenties
and thirties, using common sense wealth creation concepts that we
should all know.
Most of us do already know those concepts but lack the courage
to back ourselves.
In December 2005, I retired from the workforce to become a full
time investor. A Dream come true after nearly 2 years of proving
the system “after hours” while still having a day job. All thanks
to Jamie.
Maybe some people simply write themselves off as "not capable" or
not being in the wealth creation category, lacking the confidence
of the experienced stockmarket investor or the savvy property
investor who confidently searches real estate markets for new
bargains effortlessly.
They back themselves with confidence. They know what is possible
if they put in the effort and believe in themselves. Maybe us
small investors should back ourselves more in this world. To base
decisions on your own experiences rather than holding back based
on news stories, bad reviews and biased opinions based on little
or no experience.
I took the leap of faith and jumped into the wealth creation arena
with a semi confident leap in January 2004. With the help from
Jamie McIntyre from 21st Century Academy, I was able to learn how
to make money from renting shares on the sharemarket, locate
positive cashflow properties of the plan and fast track my path
towards financial independence while doing most of my work from
home.
I discovered superb wealth building contacts through financial
partners such as: Aviate Group, Investor Finance, Tangible Assets,
JB Global, Halifax, Planet Wealth & many others.
Earning 2% return per month for my investments would at first be
an attractive idea in mine and most peoples wealth creation plan.
When the knowledge then increased through lots of study and a real
concerted effort to break away from the everyday norm, I then
realized (and proved) that 15 - 20% per month was and is very
achievable. My best month so far made me a 32% monthly return for
one 5 figure investment.
Now that didn’t exactly upset my wealth building process!
As my investment knowledge grows, I now find myself in a position
of strength. A position where I can now actively support charities
without putting a strain on my finances. It makes me feel good
about helping others through sharing. Others are now benefiting
from my decision to educate myself and expand my financial
intelligence.
Now, I feel that any indecision on my behalf to further my
financial education would be selfish, Selfish, because without
enough wealth I would be a burden to society. Now, I will fund my
own retirement. I will actively support charities, more and more.
Like Jamie, I can now share my knowledge with others and help them
do the same.
I am obviously very grateful for the ideas, knowledge and general
change of mindset that the likes of Jamie McIntyre and his friends
at 21st Century Academy have passed on to me so generously. Now I
am able to share this knowledge with other likeminded people and
get extra enjoyment sharing this newfound knowledge in my favorite
field of wealth creation investment. My personal financial wealth
education, although only just having started, is on an upward path
where I never dreamt of it going before.
Who would ever have thought that making money in your sleep could
be so much fun?
